Plant Manager
I went through several interview rounds, and I also got to see the site and chat with some of the execs. The application process was actually really smooth, and the recruiter I worked with from Ventura was super helpful. She really made sure I was set up and supported. The hiring manager was great to work with and even came out to give me a tour himself. They seem to really focus on their people, which is cool to see.

The interview process was very smooth but there were too many interviews needed. I did 3 interviews all ranging about an hour each except for the first. The first one was with a hiring manager. The second was with the finance manager and the third/fourth was with the plant/project managers. The interview questions weren't too difficult but in the end they went with another candidate. I called back the hiring manager to ask her if it's possible to be considered for another position at another location. The phone then said "call failed." It rubbed me off the wrong way. They could have at least told me no that they weren't interested.

Sales Manager
I've worked with recruiters for over 15 years in foodservice, and Danielle is by far the best. She has a unique way of recruiting talent. She sent me a personal message that pointed out my experience and accomplishments and why she thought I'd be a good fit for the job. Danielle really wanted to make sure the opportunity was right for me and the company. Her optimism and charisma are infectious, and her genuine care for people is obvious. Danielle's communication was always quick and detailed. I don't say this often, but she's 'BEST in class'! Thanks to her, I found a company I'm happy to be with for a long time.

This was a multi-stage interview process (3 rounds total). The initial stages were virtual, followed by an in-person interview. I was contacted by a recruiter. The company had recently relocated from Savannah, GA to Atlanta, GA, which led to about two-thirds of the corporate staff leaving instead of moving. The most tenured employee had only been with the company for five years, the next for almost two, and most had less than a year of experience. The private equity owners had also fired all the C-suite executives about ten months prior. The office environment was noticeably unpleasant, with products stored in cubicles, and a palpable tension among staff, as if everyone was on edge. The in-person part of the interview involved meeting with middle management and one of the C-suite executives. They took me to different offices and asked mostly standard interview questions, nothing out of the ordinary. However, the interview's atmosphere shifted dramatically from the virtual sessions, becoming much more confrontational and accusatory. The total duration of these discussions was around 2.5 hours, and we seemed to be repeating ourselves towards the end. Their professional presentation was lacking, and they appeared unprepared for my visit, requiring me to wait over 15 minutes past my scheduled time, even though I arrived early. One interviewer was particularly discourteous, spending several minutes with their back turned to me while organizing papers in their office, treating me like an inconvenience. Overall, it was a very negative and highly unprofessional experience.
