First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Venn Strategies.
Intern
I had a single panel interview that wasn't too stressful. The interviewers were friendly and asked pertinent questions that allowed for elaboration. They also responded promptly.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Health Policy Associate
The interview process involved two rounds, each lasting about an hour on separate days. The first round featured interviews with two Senior Associates, focusing on standard questions. The second round involved discussions with two Vice Presidents, who asked clarifying and follow-up questions. I had the opportunity to ask my own questions during each round.
- What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?
- What motivates your interest in working at Venn Strategies?
- Could you explain the reasons for departing from your previous role?
Vice President
The whole process moved pretty quickly. I went through three interviews in total over about a month. First, there was a thirty-minute interview with a mix of an assistant VP and a VP. Then, I had another thirty-minute interview with two principals. Finally, I met with the CEO for an hour-long discussion. So, I was done with all the interviews in roughly one month.
- How would you handle a situation where a client requested something that conflicted with your personal values or beliefs?
Intern
This was a standard behavioral interview process. They were quick to respond via email and I received an offer within 2 weeks of interviewing. The interview zoom call included 4 people who asked good questions. Overall, it was a good experience.
- Why did you choose Venn?
- What about lobbying and government affairs interests you?
