Account Manager
Phone interview, went well. Good questions. Definitely had a chance to ask everything I needed and was interested in knowing about the position. Very nice interviewer. Would recommend!
- What unique value would you contribute to vendo?
Digital Marketing Specialist
The interview process is being conducted entirely via text, which is unusual. Normally, I'd expect a company interested in hiring me to want to see me on camera. I'm still in the process, but it's a bit concerning how quickly things are moving without a face to the name.

Account Manager
I had a good initial phone chat that led to an in-person meeting with the recruiter. When I got to the office, I was set to interview with two people. The first interview was super chill, but they threw in some weird questions, like asking if I was dating. After that, I waited for the next person, but then they told me they'd double-booked and would reschedule. Honestly, it felt like they rushed me out, and after I followed up, they just said I wasn't a good fit. Super unprofessional.
- What draws you to the technology industry?
Digital Strategist
I had a great first call with the recruiter who found me on LinkedIn. She thought I was a good fit and set me up with a manager interview, which also went well. Then I was invited to their office to give a presentation about a marketing strategy for a real company. The instructions were super vague, and I couldn't get a straight answer on whether it was supposed to be a client proposal or an internal strategy presentation. I ended up treating it as an internal strategy presentation and spent a ton of time prepping. During the interview, I presented to two employees, but we had to do it orally because their equipment wasn't working. They asked a few questions, and then both left. One came back and said she wanted to do a 'formal interview' but had no questions. I asked if the other person was coming back, and she said no. So he just left. Rude. This 'formal interview' was awkward and only 10 minutes long. The next day, the recruiter told me I took the wrong approach with the presentation and that they were looking for someone with less experience, even though I only have 1.5 years. Honestly, the project was way too vague, and the feedback was useless. A lot of effort for nothing.
- Could you please specify the context for the presentation you want me to prepare?
