It started with a video call screening interview. We talked about my past working history, what they are looking for in the role, and they gave me a great overview of what the company entails and the direction it is going in.

The interview experience was really good! The people there were super nice. It was a mix of behavioral and technical questions. The technical part was like a leetcode easy, and it lasted around 30-40 minutes.

The interview process itself was okay. The main problem was the waiting period afterward. After my third interview, I was pretty sure I'd get a positive response because they felt I was a good fit. But then, from that point until I was told they needed someone with a clearance and I wouldn't be proceeding, it was just constant back and forth checking emails. It took three months from my last interview to hear back that I wasn't moving forward, and during that whole time, I was repeatedly told I would be getting an offer and that they were working on it, both by a manager I spoke with on the phone and the recruiter. Maybe the delay was because of COVID and everyone working remotely, but this was honestly the worst interview experience I've had so far.

I got a call on Monday, and then interviewed by Wednesday. It was a good conversation, and they asked more situational questions than technical ones. I didn't hear back though, I wish they would have given me feedback or a follow up interview!
