Started with a phone interview. The recruiter was very personable and easy-going. It was a comfortable call. She explained the interview process, including the different steps and milestones. It seems like an extended process, but I understand why; you definitely want to hire responsibly and not rush things. It's been simple and easy so far. I'll update as I go through the rest of the process.

The interview process was really thorough but took a lot of time and had too many tasks. It felt like their decisions weren't based on experience or skills, but more on who you knew and because of a toxic team. They keep hiring people who were fired elsewhere for being toxic and bullying. Even managers from other areas admit the Columbus area has a toxic environment.

The interview process involved multiple rounds. Round 1 with Parisa focused on my passion for healthcare, data analytics experience with Tableau, company mission alignment, growth challenges, and customer service. I also discussed relocation, sponsorship, and salary expectations. Round 2 with Gulia delved into the nature of the work, emphasizing Excel-based data management, the company's rapid growth, and the need for independence and insightful questions. An Excel problem-solving task was part of this round. Challenges, workload, and data analysis skills were also discussed. Round 3 involved more questions and a general discussion, but ultimately, a fit wasn't found.

This was a really long and tough interview process, like 6 rounds after the initial application and recruiter screen. I had to use 3 days of my PTO for it because it involved two in-person stages: one at a hospital and another at their HQ where I had 5 one-on-one interviews. It felt like a lot of work to prep for everything. After all that, they said no offer, and the reason was 'experience they weren't looking for.' Which is weird because my veterinary background is super relevant to what they do and I even talked about it in the first interview! Seems like they didn't communicate well internally and didn't value my time.
