I applied and a week later HR reached out to set up a chat with the hiring manager. The first call was more of an intro, covering the role generally without much about me. I sent over work samples after. Two days later, we had another call where we went deep into my work history, starting from college and covering over 20 years of experience thoroughly. They asked for a more detailed resume, which I did. Two days after that, a third call happened to talk about a take-home assignment. I got the details and agreed to do it within a week. I submitted the project early and got feedback fairly quickly. After making some revisions, I was invited to a final sync. During the sync call, I was informed they weren't moving forward, citing one piece of sample content, which was surprising given the strategy work I presented.

Presentation Behavioral

It took about two months from the first chat to the final presentation. I was asked to make two marketing materials and then present them to a group of people. They liked what I made and how I presented it, but then they said they were putting hiring on hold because they weren't sure what skills they needed. It felt unprofessional to have me prepare work when they hadn't figured out what they wanted. Since they don't use recruiters, getting information was slow and awkward because it all went through the hiring manager. Like other people mentioned, during one of the interviews, I was asked about my childhood.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a nice interview process, I met lots of people from my team and other teams too. The questions were not hard and no tricky ones. My role had 4 rounds, and one of them was a panel interview with a presentation. The company is growing fast, so the process might be a bit unclear. It took about 3 months from the first chat to the offer.
