Senior QA Analyst
First, an initial chat with an agency to go over your experience and resume to see if you're a good fit. Then, a real-time interview with the Manager where they'll ask how you handle production issues and how you deal with developers and other team members in difficult situations. After that, a session with the manager and two other QAs. Then, an interview with senior management, followed by a final interview with the CEO.
- Can you tell me about your experience and your resume?
- Describe a situation where you had to handle a production issue.
- How do you navigate difficult conversations with developers and other team members?
Business Analyst
The interview process went fast. First was with the recruiter, second with the hiring manager, the VP of Product, and last with the CEO. The interview with the VP of Product went well -- she was engaging to talk with and clearly stated the goals and outcomes of what she expected the candidate to deliver in the first 3, 6 and 12 months in the role. The interview with the CEO was less engaging -- he asked me basic questions like "what are your top 3 strengths and weaknesses" and that caught me off guard as normally you get asked remedial level questions like this for low seniority positions like customer success, talent acquisition, BDRs, etc., After the CEO interview, I denied moving forward with the company as I didn't feel I would be challenged in the this role nor would I get the support I wanted to grow in my career.
- What is your understanding of Veem?
- Describe your current role responsibilities.
- Can you list your three greatest strengths and weaknesses?
Account Manager
I applied for a BDR role, and the initial interview process involved a phone call followed by a panel interview with a senior sales manager and a senior customer success manager, which I thought went well. Two days later, I received an email stating that my experience would be a better fit for an Account Manager role. I agreed, and we had another interview. They mentioned they would get back to me within a few days, but I heard nothing for a full week. I followed up with the recruiter via email, but received no response. I followed up again the following week, with the same result. It seems like that company doesn't value my time. I even sent a message to another senior manager asking for an update, and received the same lack of response. I hope someone from Veem sees this.

- What about Veem appeals to you?
- What frustrates you?
Front End Developer
First, a recruiter gave me a call. Then, I interviewed with the Engineering Director. After that, a software team member screened me because I applied for front end, so it was mostly React and JavaScript questions. Then, there were three onsite interviews. The first onsite was about Front End, mostly modern CSS and HTML plus React. The second onsite was about JavaScript, algorithm questions, and async. The third onsite was about System Design, the architecture of a simple app, and JavaScript questions. Finally, I had an interview with the Director for the final offer.
- Async questions about promises and algorithm.
- Questions about async, promises, and algorithms.
