Sales Representative
I went through 2 interviews, one with HR and another with the Sales Manager. They were both professional and direct, covering my background, salary expectations, and focusing on my ability to handle objections. The process was quick and well-explained, and I got a fast offer that I accepted.
- Can you describe your past experience?
- What's your approach to handling objections?
- What are your salary expectations?
Inside Sales Representative
The interview was a bit challenging, it lasted for 2 hours with two interviewers. There was a role play involved, and they asked many questions. I can't recall much now, and the minimum word count is thirty. I don't have anything else to add for now.
- Participate in a role play exercise.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
- What motivates your interest in Veeam?
Inside Sales Representative
The hiring process was absolutely horrendous, while one recruitment bad experience shouldn't dictate the general opinion on the company, it does matter especially when nobody tried to correct it. I was recruited through an outside company recruiting for Veeam, the lady handling me was courteous, always reaching for feedback and follow up with me, after she passed my resume to the Veeam recruitment department, everything went south. She never followed up with me, she told me she'd reach out to me in a week and then after a week and 3 days I emailed her and she completely forgot about me, we finally make the appointment for the interview over Skype and she says she'll give me the details for a scenario that I was meant to rehearse, she only sends me that one day before the interview, AFTER I email her. Although the feedback was positive, she said the managers are coming to the local headquarters so let's have an interview with them, but she didn't give me a timeframe. Then after 2 weeks she calls me to schedule an interview for the next day (maybe I was busy on such short notice...she didn't bother to check if I actually want that day) and she tells me 10:30 in the morning, I agree and work around my schedule make phone calls to postpone what I already had planned for the day, then, 3 hours later she calls me to say that the interview tomorrow can no longer be held at 10:30 and if I could do 4:00pm. After going through this, at the interview the managers were pretty ok and they actually said at the end of the interview that considering my experience and language skills, they'd like to promote me from the position I applied Inside Sales Junior, to Associate, which meant I'd be closing the deal. They were no longer discussing if they'll send me an offer, but what offer they should make and if the new position would be agreeable (to which I said YES). A week later I was sending in my references and paperwork for the employment but I had still not received the actual offer. So I emailed the recruitment person and she said, change of plans, they found someone else. So I wasted a total of 2 months with them, and rejected an HP offer and found myself unemployed. Nobody apologized or even made the smallest effort to explain what had happened. They didn't try to find a more suitable position or to offer me the initial position that I applied on. By far, the worst experience I've ever had with any company ever.
- Could you sell Skype for Business in a sales scenario?
