The interview process was pretty standard. They asked general questions about experience and what you're looking for in a team, manager, and work environment. It took about two weeks to hear back, mostly because the hiring manager was out for a while.

I got pushed through the initial stages of the interview pretty quickly, but then in the third interview with Sean Skelly, things took a turn when he realized they'd made a mistake. They thought a previous company I worked for was a major player in security distribution, which was a bit of an embarrassing moment for both of us. It really highlighted how unprepared and juvenile they were throughout the whole process.

The hiring process started in December and took a very long 9 months to finalize, which felt like a long wait to start. I was flown in for an interview, then took a cab to the site. The interview itself was about an hour, followed by an hour for a tour and introductions, and then I was taken back to the airport.

The interview was short and easy, with no hard questions. I wish they had explained things better, especially about the pay guarantee for the first 3 months. It sounds good at first, but it goes down each month until it's commission-only after the third month, which is really hard in this industry.
