First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at VDart.
Intern
The interview process was quite straightforward and the interviewer put me at ease. It consisted of two stages: an HR round and a technical round. They placed a significant emphasis on a candidate's communication skills.
- Can you share some personal details about yourself?
- What are your qualifications?
- Could you explain some core concepts?
Technical Recruiter
In total, there were three rounds. The first round was a group discussion, followed by another group discussion for the second round. The third and final round was a one-on-one interview. Overall, the interview process was quite challenging, but I had a great experience.
- What are your interests?
- Could you tell me about the project you completed in your final year of college?
Scrum Master
They asked me for a lot of information, more than 20 points, which was already on my resume. I told the recruiter they could get it from there, and they said they understood, but then asked again for all the information. I decided not to continue with the process because it made me uncomfortable. For me, this kind of recruitment process is a red flag, where they ask for a lot of information and lack the common sense to at least review your resume to help with the process.
- They requested a lot of information
Customer Service Representative
VDart handles the initial screening. After that, someone from HCL will set up an interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager will ask a few questions, mostly behavioral ones ('tell me about a time'). If you're hired, they'll need more info for a background check, which is very thorough – they even asked for a copy of my passport.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Would you be open to relocating to Duluth, MN?
- Are you open to a contract role with Vdart?
