Hiring new employees involves a multi-stage process. It usually starts with writing a job description and posting the job. Then, interviews are scheduled. We conduct preliminary interviews, followed by in-person interviews. After that, we follow up with candidates and make a hire. It's really annoying when there's a delay in connecting with candidates.

It was a pretty standard process with a bunch of interviews. They talked about technology, outsourcing, managing executives, and how well I communicate. Also, relationship building, managing clients and selling, plus how to hire and grow top talent. They also wanted to know about implementing modern management techniques across the org. It moved along pretty smoothly without much waiting.

I only had one interview, and they asked me really basic questions. Actually, I was able to find out what questions they would ask beforehand because they use a standard interview template. I don't recall every question, but if you're interviewing, you should know the difference between a hub and a switch, and what "OU" stands for. I think they asked a few customer service-related questions too.

I went through 5 interviews for this role, including some panel interviews. I interviewed with future teammates and individually with engineering managers. I can't complain about the interview process. One engineering manager was very direct about how fast-paced the environment is. There was a lunch interview, an interview with the CIO, an interview with a high-ranking manager who is no longer with the company, and two panel interviews. I also had an interview with an HR rep. Overall, I have no complaints about the interview experience.
