I was called in to answer a couple of general questions, not really about construction itself, more to see if I'd fit with the team. I answered their questions, shook hands, and followed up. I got the job!

Had a quick phone call, then they invited me for an interview. The interview was over an hour and a half and it went super well; we chatted about the industry and they liked my enthusiasm. We covered why VCCP, why marketing, and why this specific role. They asked me to discuss a VCCP campaign I liked and a general campaign I liked. I was then invited back for a second interview with the head of the department and another team member, in two separate interviews. They asked similar questions about why VCCP and more about my experience as it relates to the job. They mentioned they'd decide in two days, but it took almost five days to hear back. Apparently, it was between me and another candidate who knew more about the role. I really enjoyed the experience and would look for another opportunity with this agency.
