Software Engineer
The process might change but usually, you'll go through these steps: First, submit your resume and a cover letter. Then, fill out the online application. After that, HR or a recruiter will screen your resume to see if you fit. You might have a quick phone or video call (15-30 mins) to check your background and skills. For tech roles, there could be online tests, like coding challenges. Technical screening usually involves solving coding problems or answering technical questions. Then come the actual interviews: technical ones focusing on coding, algorithms, data structures, and system design. You'll also have behavioral interviews asking about past experiences using the STAR method. You might talk to your potential manager about team fit and career goals. Finally, you could have on-site interviews with multiple people, possibly a panel interview, with more technical and behavioral questions.
