The interview process started with a phone screening to check if I was okay with the pay and the type of work. It looked like they were working with another staffing company, GlobalLogic, for a contract with Google. Then, there was a general interview where they asked about my education and experience. After that, I had a Google Meets video call where I had to share my screen and proofread/edit a paragraph to show my English skills. Next, I got an email asking for personal info like my DOB and the last four digits of my social security number. It was kind of confusing because so many different people contacted me throughout the process. It felt like I was dealing with a new person for every email or interview, which made it hard to keep track of. I even mentioned it during one interview, and the interviewer just laughed and said he knows it sounds like a scam. I did get the job, but the whole recruiting thing really felt like a scam.

So before the actual interview, there's some training. The whole process felt really weird. They kind of fake your resume for you, and then they want you to interview in a way that's not totally honest. Also, they asked me to download a program that would give them access to my PC. Just be careful, you know?
