First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Varsity Tutors.
Sales Consultant
So first I had this on-demand video interview thing on an app called Hire-Vue, where I answered five questions and then two more about schedules and rates. After that, there was a game, kind of a personality test. Then they called me for a phone interview, and after that I got the job offer.
- What motivated you to apply for this role?
- How does your previous work experience align with the requirements of this job?
- What questions would you prepare to ask a potential client?
Sales Consultant
The process was smooth and easy, and I got a quick call back. The interview was very nice. She explained the process and the benefits, and what my schedule would look like. Then she went into what training would be like as well. Once I got on board, they sent me all my products and training started for the next six weeks.
- What basic sales questions do you have?
- What are your skills in sales?
Sales Consultant
It was mainly a video interview with general questions and scenarios. Then, if they liked the video responses, there was a really short phone interview. Both were pretty quick.
- Can you describe how you manage challenging conversations?
