Technical Support Engineer
Got reached out to via recruits. Initial meeting was a phone call then with lead and finally with with USA region manager. The first two interviews were simple basically getting to know you. The 3rd was technical. 3rd interview was 9 minutes. Asked 3 questions and then basically let it end at that. Manager asked this really poorly question and when I asked him to clarify he said it’s basically a connection issue. Gave him my answer and he didn’t seem to like it so then asked if I have experience with active directory and then left it at that. After that interview communication went silent.
- Do you have experience with active directory?
Technical Support Engineer
The interview process had two parts. First, a Varonis recruiter did a screening, asking basic questions about my experiences and what I'm looking for. The first technical interview was about 1.5 hours and involved responding to different scenarios and questions, and it wasn't too hard. The last interview was with senior team leaders who asked mostly behavioral questions, which were also not difficult and didn't have right or wrong answers.
- What is your general IT knowledge?
- Can you discuss relational database tables?
- How are your customer service skills?
Technical Support Engineer
Had an initial screening, followed by a one-on-one technical interview. Then, there was a panel interview with both behavioral and technical questions. The whole process was standard, and everything was scheduled really fast. It was an easy process, and the recruiters were super helpful with any questions I had.
- Can you explain what group policy is?
- How would you write a command to check the status of windows services?
- Could you solve some basic SQL statement problems?
