Buyer Planner
It was a long, complex, and interesting process. They ask a lot about your technical knowledge and skills. They want to make sure you fit well with the team to ensure good coexistence and work culture.
- What is the main reason you want to join this company?
Sales Manager
The process started with an HR phone screen, followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager. I was then told by the hiring manager that HR would contact me for an interview at corporate the following week. After not hearing from HR, I followed up with the manager. He emailed asking me to call him at 5am my time. I called him at 5am, waking him up, only for him to inform me they had chosen another candidate. He didn’t need to wake me up at 4am to deliver this news. The process and the 5am call felt unprofessional, which seems to align with their company culture based on reviews.
- Can you share an experience where you ...?
- What is your approach to managing x?
Complaint Specialist
The interview process kicked off with a phone screening. After that, I had a 1:1 interview where I met with five different department heads (HR, Regulatory, Quality, R&D, Marketing, and Production), people I would be working with daily. Then, there was a third in-person interview with the CEO, who was really nice and easy to chat with. The HR manager was also very nice. She met with me after the final interview to see if I had any last questions. I got a job offer a few weeks later and accepted. It was a pretty easy process overall.
- What are your thoughts on handling paperwork?
Financial Planning and Analysis
I applied on Indeed and had a phone screen with HR. They set up an on-site interview about two weeks later. The on-site interview was 3-4 hours long with the hiring manager, CFO, accounting manager, and HR. I had a second on-site interview two weeks after that with the hiring manager and HR Director. The whole process took about a month.
- How would you manage multiple projects/assignments when unexpected and high-priority requests come in?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Describe a situation where you had a disagreement with a co-worker.
