First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vanderbilt University.
Student Worker
I sent in my resume and a written sample answering some questions, and then I was called in for an interview about a week later. They offered me the job right there during the interview, and I accepted immediately.
- Can you tell me about your weaknesses?
Intern
So first there was like, the application process, which needed like a referral and had some questions that were specific to the role I was going for. Then, about a week later, I had a phone interview, and after that, a casual group interview. They let us know within the next week if we got the position.
- What would you do if you received a call from a very upset person?
Intern
The process was simple and easy. I applied online, had a screening phone call followed by an interview in person. Nothing technical was asked, it was very standard. The people were very nice throughout and although I was nervous at the beginning it was easy to ease my way into the interview.
- What makes you want to join this company?
