It began with a phone call, then a few different in-person interviews that were all very reasonable and flexible time-wise. It was very relaxed and questions seemed to dig at general knowledge, not specifics.

It was pretty laid back. Went into a room and was interviewed by 2 people. One was the NOC manager and the other was an internal IT manager. They asked about my experience and how it aligns with being a sysadmin.

I spoke with 3 different people from upper management, one-on-one. Two of the meetings were at Starbucks, and one was at the office. We had nice, professional conversations! I felt they really considered what I needed, my skills, and what I was looking for.

The interview process was quick and not too difficult. I got offered the job after my second interview. When I tried to negotiate salary and benefits, the hiring manager got really hostile. He was offended that I didn't accept the job right away, even though he couldn't give me any details about their benefits package. All he could tell me was that they had health insurance and a 401(k), but no info on vacation, PTO, 401(k) matching, or anything else.
