Automation Tester
It was okay, and it really depends on the interviewer and if the job role is currently needed. Give it your best shot to pass the interview. Overall, the interview went fine and finished within the time they said it would.
- Do you have experience with Java programming?
- Can you write Selenium scripts?
- Are you familiar with API testing?
Automation Test Engineer
After my profile was shortlisted for the QA Analyst - Selenium Testing role at ValueLabs on December 7th, 2017, I got a call from the company recruiter. They set up a telephonic technical round with the Technical Lead. The interview was of medium difficulty and lasted for an hour. I was asked scenario-based questions about when to use automation, and also about Core Java and the Selenium Tool. The interviewer mentioned I would be contacted for further rounds, but I had to wait a long time for feedback. I eventually contacted the HR, who after some delay stated that they couldn't share feedback due to company policy. It was quite disappointing after spending an hour in the interview to not get any feedback, whether positive or negative.
- Can you explain what 'findElement' does in a Selenium command like ' driver.findElement(By.xpath('')) '?

Valuelabs interview process for Quality assurance automation testing using selenium and java. I cleared my first round and am waiting for the second round. There are 2 technical rounds and then an HR round. Suggestions: Prepare manual concepts.
