First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ValueLabs.
RF Engineer
The interview process is made up of 4 rounds: a written test, two panel interviews, and an HR interview. The first round was a written test. It's easy if you've prepared the basics of wireless cellular mobile communication and aptitude. I didn't make it past this round because the paper was too long and I ran out of time.
- Can you describe a cellular system diagram?
- Explain the differences between 2G, 3G, and 4G cellular technologies.
- What do acronyms like SIM stand for?
RF Engineer
4 Rounds total, including one client round. The whole process took about 2 months. They probably can't afford expensive resources, but stand your ground and never sign a bond with them because that's their way of giving a small raise but forcing you to stay.
- What is the GSM call flow?
- Can you explain EVDO?
- Tell me about LTE.
RF Engineer
The interview process had quite a few stages. First, there was a written test, followed by a technical interview. Then, a managerial round and an HR round took place. The final stage was an onsite client round. They also give out free food coupons.
- Can you answer questions related to telecommunications?
