My interview process had three main stages plus a chat with the project manager. It was a good experience overall. The first stage was a technical interview, mostly verbal, and it went well. The second stage involved a written test where I had to solve a problem statement, primarily in core Java, with two interviewers, one from India and the other the product owner from Germany. They were really helpful in guiding my thought process. The third stage was a more casual chat with the head HR, focusing on getting to know each other rather than technical or salary specifics. Finally, I had a session with the project manager, which I found very valuable. It allowed me to discuss the technology stack and team dynamics freely, addressing my concerns as an experienced candidate about potentially being assigned an undesirable technology. The talent acquisition HR, Suprith, was excellent throughout, making the whole process smooth and patiently answering all my questions, even after the offer.

Technical Coding Behavioral

This was a campus recruitment interview. We started with about 60 aptitude questions covering quants, logical reasoning, and technical topics. Out of the 60 students who took the first round, only 22 were selected for the next group discussion round, which was non-eliminating. The third round was a face-to-face technical interview, involving questions on the basics of all engineering subjects and real-world problems. These questions were challenging and interesting. From this round, only 8 of us were selected for the final HR interview. The HR round was a telephonic interview that lasted about 30 minutes. The very next day, I received the offer letter.

Started with a managerial round. If they feel you are a good fit, you move to the next stage, which involves a logical problem. After solving it, you present your solution to a panel, demonstrating its functionality. Then, another manager meeting to discuss if you'll join Valtech despite negative online reviews. If you agree, they indicate an offer. Finally, an HR round for about half an hour covers family background, education, and more. I was rejected at the HR stage with no explanation. It was a waste of time and effort, very unprofessional with inappropriate language used during the presentation and other rounds. I do not recommend joining this company.
