The process was effective and very fast. HR was always responsive via email. There were three interviews: the first was with HR for an initial get-to-know-you chat; the next two were technical. The first technical interview involved questions about my work history, CV details, and some related technical queries. The second technical interview covered broader questions about projects I've worked on, my personal profile, and my work methodology. It concluded with a brief pseudocode logic exercise to evaluate problem-solving skills.

The online interview with the manager and an HR representative was smooth and to the point. It included technical questions about the technologies used, details about the company and the position, and gave a good understanding of the job expectations.

Behavioral Technical

About a week after applying, I got a call to set up a video interview for the following week. The HR person seemed nice, but I got the impression she wasn't very technical when she asked about my background. She mainly just wrote down technology names and years of experience, which I'd already put on my CV and cover letter, making me think they hadn't read my application. They asked about my salary expectations, and I said I'd be happy if they could match my last salary. She mentioned they'd hired a lot of people recently and were acquiring another company, then asked if I wouldn't work for less. I was confused because that salary was about average for my role two years ago. I asked if my salary expectations were within their budget, but she brushed it off, saying she'd pass the info along and I'd be contacted the next week for a technical interview. Three weeks went by, and I got an automated rejection email saying the role's direction had changed. I emailed the interviewer asking for clarification and feedback, but I haven't heard back after a few more weeks. It was a pretty bad experience and a waste of time for everyone.
