So, this whole thing was a total red flag. I applied to Valmont Shared Services in KL. The recruiter, E**, set up a first interview really quickly, saying it was a short call, but it turned out to be an actual interview, so I had to reschedule my other plans. The job description didn't mention anything about shift work, but then during the interview, they asked about preferred shifts, which was weird since it wasn't in the JD. They said I passed the first interview and asked me to fill out some forms. After I did, they told me they were waiting for the US team's availability. The guy called me late at night and then just disappeared, totally ghosted me like we never spoke. Honestly, they seem to treat job applications like a joke.

It was a really quick and smooth hiring process, lasting about a month. The people I talked to were great, really respected my time and treated me like a person. The interviews felt more like genuine discussions about the business and how I could contribute.

The interview process had three rounds. First, a recruiter called, then I spoke with an HR manager peer from a different state, and finally, the general manager. It felt like each interviewer had different ideas about the role, which was confusing. After the last interview, they ghosted me, which I'm honestly okay with since the team clearly wasn't on the same page.

The interview process can differ depending on the specific role, but generally, you'll have a chance to speak with a human resources representative, the hiring manager, and at least one other team member. We also usually include a tour so you can see the workplace and get a feel for our culture. Make sure to ask your questions during the interviews too! Overall, it was a smooth process, the staff were really friendly, and it was motivating to learn and achieve more. They were very supportive, and the atmosphere felt good, calm, and friendly.
