The interview process was quick and smooth for me as the interviewee. It took less than three weeks from the initial contact to receiving the offer. I had two interview rounds. First, I had a virtual meeting with my direct supervisor. Then, I came to the office for meetings with the communications team and a tour of the office space.

It started with a 30-min phone call with the project admin, which was pretty casual. Then, they set up a 30-min Zoom meeting with the team to go over my current project and ask some behavioral questions. The next interview was an hour long with the hiring manager and the whole team, focusing on behavioral questions and some basic SQL. They also had me do an EPIC analytical test beforehand. A week after, the hiring manager asked for references, but then I heard nothing, even after a follow-up email. It's really frustrating to be ghosted with no feedback; I'm fine with not getting the offer if I'm not a good fit, but some feedback would be appreciated. I feel like they just asked for references to wrap up their process, even though they'd already decided against me. I put my time into this, and a response is the least I expect. It's a really poor process.

Had a nice phone chat with the hospital recruiter, who asked the usual stuff like 'tell me about yourself,' 'why this job,' and 'hobbies.' She was super friendly and made me feel at ease. Then there was a 'working interview' day with the team. They were all really welcoming and happy to answer any questions I had. They even provided lunch. I felt like part of the team already. Haven't heard back about an offer yet, but I appreciate the effort they put into the interview process.
