First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Valley Forge Fabrics.
Summer Program
The interview was entirely behavioral and focused heavily on my understanding of the firm. I was asked several questions about VF's values, culture, and recent strategic initiatives, which gave me the opportunity to demonstrate the research I had done beforehand. We also discussed how I align with their core values like innovation and team spirit, and I was asked to provide examples from my experiences that reflect these traits.
- Which of VF's values do you find most aligned with yourself?
Customer Service Representative
We discussed the process and the job role. It seems like a good environment. The company is family-owned and has been in business for over 40 years. Learning about the hospitality industry would be interesting.
- Can you tell me about your past work experience?
Project Associate
I had a zoom call scheduled with one of the supervisors, and they were super welcoming and right on time. They were really nice and happy to answer anything I asked. They asked about my past experience and why I was interested in their company. I felt like they really listened and we had a great talk where I learned a lot about the different teams and what would be expected of me.
- Regarding task prioritization, how do you go about it?
Account Manager
The first interview went really well over the phone. But the next step was a bad experience. The interviewer was unprofessional in how he emailed me. He didn't offer many times to meet and wasn't mindful that I have a job. He seemed really down and had no energy. It was a weird and awkward way to represent the company. It didn't make me excited about the job and he questioned why I even applied.
- Do you have any questions for me?
