The interview process was a disorganized mess. While it seemed good at first glance, the people involved didn't seem coordinated. It was a lot of 'hurry up and wait' from management. They're proud of themselves but need to be more realistic.

The interview process was quite lengthy, involving several interviews and a final assessment designed to evaluate my suitability for the role. However, the interviews felt uninspired, with questions that didn't effectively clarify the job responsibilities or daily tasks. It was challenging to grasp what specific marketing skills they were seeking. Despite explaining my industry experience and asking for more details about the day-to-day, the consistent response was that I would work with my supervisor, which seemed insufficient, especially for someone overseeing the department. Furthermore, the assessment felt like a subjective and unrealistic measure of qualification, potentially wasting candidates' time. I remained optimistic and eager to learn, but after completing all 3 interviews and 1 assessment, I received an email stating they were not proceeding with my application. A significant disappointment was the lack of feedback regarding my non-selection after such a time investment. The management of this process was frankly quite poor.

I had an interview on the same day they reached out. Right after the first one, they scheduled a second interview for me, also on the same day. The hiring manager for the second interview was quite distant and rushed our conversation, ending it within 30 minutes. They only shared about 10 minutes of details about the role before asking if I had any questions. Since then, I haven't heard back from the company.

I was supposed to have an interview scheduled, but the recruiter never called me at the designated time. When 10 minutes had passed, I followed up and was told they had it scheduled for the wrong day. They apologized, and I think they meant I had scheduled it incorrectly. The recruiter then explained that even though they still had it scheduled, they couldn't wait two weeks for me to start because I'm moving from out of state and had given a specific start date. They mentioned they talked to their regional manager about my move and it wasn't soon enough. I was surprised by this. The community manager who called me then left it up to me to ask if our call would be canceled, instead of just telling me after mentioning they weren't willing to wait. It felt like a waste of my time because I wish they had told me this earlier in the day, and I shouldn't have been the one to call to find out. If the call was indeed scheduled for the next day, I would have liked to have been notified at least 24 hours before that they weren't considering me anymore. It was really disheartening, and the attitude I received was quite catty.
