Behavioral Presentation

I had a great time interviewing with V3! The interview process felt pretty casual and friendly. It started with a quick chat with a recruiter to see if my goals and what the company needed matched up. Then, I had two more video interviews with HR leaders. These were also pretty laid-back, mostly about getting a feel for my experience and if I'd fit the company culture. The last part was an in-person meeting at their Indianapolis office with some of the leaders I'd be working with outside of HR. This was also pretty informal, more of a get-to-know-you type of thing. It was cool that the Director of HR and the Chief Human Resources Officer drove 3 hours from Illinois to meet me, show me around, and take me to lunch. It really showed they were interested in me as a candidate. I also appreciated how the recruiter stayed in touch in a really nice and timely way, even after their part was done. They were quick to make an offer and helped me out with any questions or changes I needed.

I applied for a Project Engineer role in Woodridge, IL and got a brief 10-minute phone call. After that, I was invited to their office to meet with the Director of Construction and the Project Manager. We talked about my background and what the job entails. The people I met were really nice and seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me. They made me an offer about two weeks after the in-person interview.

The interview process was great. I had an initial phone interview, then a virtual interview with several people where they really emphasized the company culture. I didn't make it to the next round for reasons not explained, but they encouraged me to reapply. About two months later, I saw the job posted again and applied, but never heard back.

After interviewing with the hiring manager and department coordinator, they both ghosted me. The job has been reposted twice. I reached out twice, but never even got an email saying they chose someone else.
