Inside Sales Representative
The interview process was pretty standard with a phone call, a zoom interview, and then an in person panel interview. My main issue was after putting in all that time, I didn't even get a generic rejection email. I followed up 3 times and never heard back. They don't owe me anything, but it just seemed unprofessional.
- Was I coachable?
- Was I a team player?
Sales Agent
Applied through Indeed and got a call within an hour. The recruiter gave an overview of the role and it went well. I was invited for a second interview, but it was uncomfortable. They really focused on my current job status and why I wanted to change jobs. They talked a lot about how tough their training is and how demanding the role is, making it sound like only a few could handle it. While they were upfront, it felt like they doubted my abilities. I know I could handle it, but you can't really know until you try. Their doubts seemed unnecessary, especially for a sales role involving learning products, talking to people, and providing services. The intensity they described didn't seem to match the job. They also rescheduled our first interview just a few hours before, moving it later that day, which made me take unnecessary time off. The way they handled the interview and focused on the process seemed too much for their company size. Also, during the interview, they asked if I'd quit my job with only a week's notice, which was a red flag given how much they scrutinized my past jobs. It felt wrong to dig so deep into my history while expecting me to leave my current job so quickly. As a candidate, I would expect them to consider my convenience and ability to make such a big decision. I didn't get an offer, and I'm fine with that, but they should have at least sent an email. Overall, the interview process was not good, and I wouldn't recommend it. Be ready for weird and off-putting questions.
- Do you have previous experience in sales?
- Are you capable of completing the training program?
- Describe your typical daily job responsibilities.
Call Center Sales Representative
They start with a phone screen, then you have two more rounds of interviews. These were both really nice and chill, but they still made sure to cover everything. You get to ask questions at the end.
- Could you tell me a little about yourself?
Account Manager
It was a pretty straightforward and laid-back interview process. They really wanted to learn about my personal strengths and what my values are. The main goal was to see if I'd be a good fit for whatever position I was applying for.
- How would you approach and overcome challenges that arise in a professional setting?
