I was contacted for an interview approximately two weeks after submitting my resume. It was a remote interview that lasted about 30 minutes and involved two interviewers, one based in Malmo and the other in London. The atmosphere was calm and friendly, and they seemed genuinely interested. This was my first interview in two years, and I feel I didn't perform my best, which is a shame because they seemed like great people to work with.

It was one of the best interviews I've ever had. I interviewed with the People Partner and the Head of People. It was very laid back and the process was easy. Even though I didn't get the role, they explained why, and I totally got it.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I was contacted by a recruiter for the role. However, there was a lot of silence from both Ustwo and the recruiter throughout the whole process, which lasted for 2 months. I was consistently told that there were other people in line and that I was one of the top contenders. After the final interview, I was informed that I did not get the role and was not given any feedback on why, even after I requested it. There was a lot of strangeness from the hiring manager, and overall, what is sold as a caring, fun studio felt much more corporate and political. I ended up not wanting the role at all and felt uncomfortable and unhappy.

Behavioral Group Presentation

The interview process was entirely remote due to COVID in July/August 2021. I was a bit anxious, but the People team was really helpful with any questions I had about the process. I enjoyed meeting the people I would be working with. The main part of the interview focused on skills and the job outline. Then, there were follow-up meetings with key stakeholders to get to know each other and see if it was a good fit. It was a good mix of one-on-one and group meetings. The process was fairly quick, but I didn't feel rushed, and I appreciated the time and communication regarding the contract and benefits.
