Product Marketing Specialist
It was a rough interview process. First, I spoke with the hiring manager on the phone. That went well, and then we had a one-on-one meeting. After that, I was invited to the office to meet the team: the Director of Demand Generation, the SDR Manager, and the COO. The conversations with the Director and SDR Manager were great; they were friendly and made a good impression. The meeting with the COO was something else. I've never felt so disrespected in an interview. He seemed arrogant and rude, and spent 30 minutes berating me with his arms crossed. I almost walked out. I told the hiring manager about it, and she agreed, saying that kind of treatment from him actually brings the team closer. I'm glad I didn't get an offer, considering how he treats people. Good luck if you interview there.

Software Engineer
We started with a google hangout interview that included some coding exercises and basic questions. After that went well, I was invited to the office for an in-person interview. While at the office, I had to do an exercise where I built a simple todo list app according to some requirements. During this exercise, I was interviewed by several employees.

Software Engineer
Applied on 7/11, VP of Engineering reached out same day. Had a phone interview on 7/24, then a technical interview on 8/1. The onsite interview was on 8/10, and I got the offer on 8/11. Matt (VP of Engineering) was really honest and transparent about the company, vision, and culture. My technical phone interview focused on AngularJs fundamentals since my skills are frontend heavy, and the interviewer was accommodating about tool issues. The onsite involved meeting 9 people (Product Owner, Engineers, Architects) for 3 hours. They asked technical questions based on my resume.

The interview process at UserVoice was really great. It was organized, professional, and everyone seemed genuinely interested. Each part gave me a good sense of the company culture and I got to have some good conversations. It was a really positive experience overall.
