First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at USAlliance FCU.
Customer Service Representative
I applied to 3 banks online and US Alliance Credit Union was the only one that got back to me. They have more than one interview. You can pick the date and time that works for you. They'll email you a reminder about your interview slot. The phone interviewer called exactly on time and was really nice and easy to talk to. They don't leave you hanging either, they'll send an email to let you know if you're moving on to the next step.
- Can you describe your home working environment?
- What are your thoughts on customer service?
- Do you have any questions for us?
Web Designer
I had two interviews for a job at the Chelmsford office, one remote and one in-person. The people were nice and the interviews seemed to go well. However, even after sending multiple emails, including thank you notes and a follow-up check-in weeks later, I never heard back from anyone. It's a shame they couldn't even let me know they chose someone else so I could move on.
- What makes you want this job?
Social Media Manager
Had 3 interviews with a really great, positive group of people. The first was all about the job itself, the second focused on company culture, and the third was more business-focused. Definitely do your homework on the company beforehand. They really prioritize their people and have a strong mission, and it seems like most employees stick around for a long time, which says a lot about how good the work environment is.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What improvements would you suggest for social media?
- What makes you the best candidate for this role?
Member Service Representative
Applied online for Member Service position, then went to the branch to drop off resume and briefly met the manager. HR called within a few days to set up a phone interview. On the scheduled day, I didn't get a call for 3 hours. HR was busy and forgot about it. I had to call the call center to find out, and they said HR got busy. The phone interview happened the next day. I met with a district manager in Woburn, then met with the branch manager. HR called with an offer, which I accepted. Later, I received an offer letter with a different job title and position I've never done.
