So first there was this quick call with a recruiter to see if I even fit the basics. Then I met with the hiring manager or some of the team, and they asked some behavioral questions. The whole thing was application, screening, then interviews like phone, video, and in-person. They also had skills assessments and background checks before making a final offer. Usually, it started with intros, then some general questions, followed by questions specific to the role, and then wrapping up.

It starts with a 3 question online assessment. These are Leetcode style, 3 easy questions. If you pass the OA, you get to schedule a phone screen. It's very basic, the recruiter asks questions like "Why USAA?", "What are you looking to get out of this internship", and basic questions about your visa status. From there, you schedule a final round. The final round is behavioral and technical with two interviewers. However, the technical part is NOT leetcode based. I was shown classes in Java and asked where they could be improved. Behaviorals are pretty standard, with an emphasis on presentations.

They have multiple rounds. The first is a SHL coding assessment with three questions, focused on string manipulation. Following that are regular tech and behavior interviews. Expect to be asked about the four pillars of Object Oriented Programming and your knowledge of languages you are proficient in.
