The process was good. It started with a couple of chats with the recruiter. After that, I spoke with HR and then the CFO. The company and recruiters kept me updated, but it took longer than with other companies I've interviewed with.

First, you need to register online with USA Hockey and a local affiliate. Then, attend and complete a seminar. After that, take an open book and possibly a closed book exam. You also need to complete a background check and pass it. Once all that is done, you can start officiating games for your local association. It was a good experience overall.
