It was mostly a behavioral interview, felt like a conversation. There were two rounds with different panels, which included upper management and other program analysts. Some of it was in a foreign language to check abilities. Overall, it was friendly and they were open to questions about them.

I was contacted a few weeks after the application deadline on USAJOBS for the Honors Program. My interview was with a panel of about 5 attorneys from various offices within the Office of the Solicitor. They said they intended to make offers based on either the first round or a later round, and I only had one interview.

Applied through USAjobs and got an email a few weeks later. After some emails to verify stuff, the hiring manager called me to talk about the job and set up a formal phone interview. A week later, I had a phone interview with three hiring managers at the Bureau of Land Management. The questions were pretty standard for someone with business communication experience.

Got an email about the interview, and setting it up was a breeze. I was interviewed by two senior attorneys from the Solicitor's Office in one round. The most senior attorney had to leave midway through. They were both nice, and the interview went pretty well. The organization felt professional yet relaxed, like a good place to be.
