The employees at the Office of Inspector General were very approachable, both through email and in person. You get interviewed by 3 employees at the same time. All three interviewers will ask you questions at random. Questions aren't hard and expected... It's an easy-going interview and they just want to know you better as well as your goals and future plans.

I applied and then a few months later they called me to see if I was still interested. This call felt like the first interview because of how we talked. At the end of the call, they invited me for an in-person interview. The in-person interview was with a panel of 3 people. A lot of it was like presenting your background, and they seemed to really care about personality fit. The week after, HR called to offer me the job.

Got the interview through campus recruitment via the career center's job board. Was selected for an entry-level staff auditor position. The interview lasted about 45 minutes in the morning. They were looking for candidates with interpersonal skills, some audit experience, and technical writing skills. They asked me to describe my past experience in those three areas. I illustrated my interpersonal skills by telling them about my past experience of gathering business requirements from numerous stakeholders for projects. I also elaborated on my auditing skills as I have completed an information technologies compliance audit. Finally, I discussed the aptitude of my technical writing skills from my past experiences creating internal control procedures, documenting business processes, and variance reporting for senior management.
