So first you gotta make or just submit your resume, then upload it or save it, and then apply for the position. If the computer is like, "Yep, it's got all the keywords I'm looking for," then your resume gets put on this referral list. That list then goes to the command that wants to hire someone, and they grade it. If your resume ends up in the top X number of slots for an interview, you get interviewed. After the interviews, they grade them, and whoever gets the top score gets offered the job.

You gotta fill out a whole application with the Army Recruiter. Then take the ASVAB to check if your scores are good enough. You'll also do a physical to see if you can even go to Basic Training. And finally, a urinalysis and background check to make sure you're good to go.

First, they'll review your records. Then, you'll have a one-on-one interview with the officer in charge and the SGM. They'll assess your character and ask about your leadership and how you manage different scenarios.
