It was very quick and easy. Seemed more like a casual chat than a formal interview. We toured the department, and I learned about what the doctors do and the different services they offer, like radiology reads, ob-gyn, and anesthesia.

It was a really good experience, and I'm waiting to hear back about a second interview. The conversation went smoothly, and they answered all my questions. The person who first reached out was super helpful, and we've been talking.

The interview process was pretty standard. First, I had an hour-long interview with the recruiter, and then an hour with the hiring manager. After talking with the recruiter, I was super excited about USACS, thinking they had a great culture and were really passionate about improving healthcare. But, my interview with the hiring manager totally changed my mind. I was scheduled for an hour with the hiring manager and another FP&A manager, and they both seemed really not interested in interviewing me. One manager dipped out after 20 minutes, and the other was clearly on his phone most of the time. When I asked the hiring manager why he chose USACS and why he stays, he said he kind of just fell into the job after his wife got him hired there 8 years ago, and he stays because 'the benefits are good'. Even though I appreciated his honesty, I was pretty disappointed with the interview and the team's vibe. It felt like they were just going through the motions and weren't really looking to seriously consider me for the role.

There was a screening phone call with a recruiter, then a zoom meeting with the clinical staff leadership. The process was very basic and fair, and they move quickly. They draw up contracts quickly, and overall it was very professional. I'd say it was one of the more fair interviews I've experienced so far. Benefits weren't discussed in great detail.
