You have to apply online first and then pass a background check. HR was a bit disorganized. If you miss your scheduled interview time, you're automatically disqualified. The interviewer didn't have my resume and I waited 35-40 minutes past the appointment time for what ended up being a 5-minute interview.

I applied online and got an email for an interview on June 29, 2017, between 9-10:30 am. I got there around 10 am and had to fill out an application. After submitting it, I waited to be called. There were like 30 other people there, and the person in charge was shuffling the applications, making some people wait longer than those who arrived later. Plus, the room was hot and uncomfortable. When it was finally my turn, the interview was super short, only about 3 minutes. Three people asked me about school and my availability, and that was it. They told me they'd keep my application on file and contact me if a position opened up.

I got an email to call the recruiter's cell to talk about the job and my background. She asked stuff like if I had recruiting experience and if I was okay with being on the phone a lot. I asked her what she liked about working at Urth and about the hours being flexible, which seemed to surprise her. She said she'd get back to me in a few days, but I waited a week with no word. I emailed to see if they'd moved on, and she said they were putting the recruitment on hold for a week and would update me when it resumed. She never did, and then the job popped up again two weeks later. All in all, a very unprofessional and unresponsive recruiter.

It was a super chill chat over the phone. They asked straightforward questions that didn't need a lot of deep thought. They really cared about if I fit with their company values and stressed the community vibe and working together as a team.
