I applied online multiple times but never heard back. Several temp agencies told me they couldn't place me if I was already in their system. At a job fair, I expressed interest in management roles, but they said none were available, despite job fair ads, temp agency listings, and their own website indicating otherwise. This was before they even saw my resume. Subsequently, I was directed to a large room for rapid-fire interviews with managers in a very loud environment. The manager I spoke with stated I would never earn my current salary there. I mentioned I was open to starting in a lower position with growth potential, but he expressed dislike for hiring candidates with that mindset, believing they're just looking to move departments and don't focus on their current role. He mainly asked about the minimum salary I could accept. When I inquired about the desired candidate profile, his only response was 'detail oriented.' Some acquaintances received job offers the next day. I didn't get a callback, which I'm fine with. My impression is they aim to fill positions with anyone, regardless of quality, and pay them as little as possible.

So I was working with CyberCoders to apply for this mid-level database role in Colorado that's been open for a while because Urban is apparently bad at hiring. We had some good interviews and they wanted to hire me after the final one. We talked compensation and their HR and Legal departments were supposed to sort out the offer letter with CyberCoders. But, their HR group was out of town for two weeks and the CyberCoders recruiter was new, so they never agreed on CyberCoders' fee because Urban wanted some crazy guarantees. So, I tried to fix it by meeting with the Information Systems Manager and a Staffing VP. We made a plan, and I was then passed to a senior recruiter at Urban who had no clue what was going on and treated me like a new candidate. She said I'd go back into the formal interview process, asked how far along we were, and if I was interviewing elsewhere. I said yes, and she told me they had other candidates to interview and would get back to me. Later, we scheduled a phone interview, but after that, the manager I was supposed to speak with never replied. Then Thursday came and went with no word, so I emailed the senior recruiter. Her response was that the manager hadn't requested a call and she'd get back to me Friday?! So I sent them all an email about the ridiculousness and withdrew my application. Seriously, don't work in their IT or HR departments.

They first have a screening interview with a large group of people, about 20 or more. From that group, they choose about 6 people to move on to the next interview stage with the PM group. After that, they select three people to interview with upper management, and finally, one person is chosen for the role.
