Got an email from a recruiter and did a recruiter phone screen. Then had a 30-min chat with the hiring manager, followed by a 4-person panel interview. They said I'd get feedback a week after the panel, but after three weeks and multiple promises, I still haven't heard anything. The panel and hiring manager interviews were pretty good, but the recruiter's initial contact and the complete lack of follow-up after the panel made me doubt the company's values.

The interview process had many steps, but overall it was a great experience. Things moved really quickly and the recruiter was super helpful and easy to talk to. I started with a phone screen with the recruiter, then had a virtual interview with the hiring manager, completed a skills test, and finally had 3 more interviews with other team members.

The Upwork interview is basically a chat between a client and a freelancer to see if the project is a good fit. It normally kicks off with a text conversation on Upwork, and if you make the cut, you'll have a video call. The main point is to go over your proposal, check out your skills, and figure out if you're the right person. To nail it, you gotta be ready, ask smart questions about what they want and how they do things, and really show them how you can sort out their specific issues.
