I had a 30-minute phone call with the recruiter that was scheduled, but she cancelled it right when it was supposed to start. We rescheduled for the next week. The call went okay, and she told me I would be moving on to speak with X, the hiring manager, and that the Coordinator would send over some interview times. I didn't hear anything for almost two weeks, and I was about to reach out when I got a generic rejection email. Really bad business practices. Avoid.

This whole thing was a nightmare, taking over 3 months of my time. They kept moving interviews, and even brought me onsite just to ask me the same things multiple times. I ended up spending 4 hours on calls and another 4 hours onsite, only to be told the position was on hold. Honestly, don't bother applying; they treat people poorly and seem more interested in getting free ideas than actually hiring someone.

Technical Behavioral

I've had a lot of interviews for internships. The main interviewer for this one didn't seem to want to get to know me and asked super hard technical questions, totally skipping any behavioral questions. Internships are supposed to be for learning on the job, not for answering these kinds of tough questions. I was hoping they'd ask about my work ethic, my skills, and how I could help the company. It also felt a bit rude because I was cut off a lot while answering, especially during the 'tell me about yourself' part.

Applied online, HR reached out, position was on hold. It became available again, so I spoke with the hiring manager who asked some technical questions. Then I had an onsite panel interview where I gave a presentation (which was recorded). I also talked with team members (some remote) and got a brief lab tour. The team said I'd hear back soon, but after two weeks, the position was on hold again. The work culture seemed healthy and vibrant. They could improve their new hire planning, and transparency wasn't great; when I asked about observing other teams to learn their processes for incorporation, I was told to just ask them directly instead of observing.
