First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Upperline Health.
Practice Success Manager
I applied online and got a call from the recruiter about 9-10 days later. The recruiter was really good at giving me info about the company and the job. I set up the second interview for the next week, whenever they could fit me in because of the holidays. The second interview with the person on the team in that role was super chill, mostly just talking. After that, it was hard to get a follow-up. The recruiter couldn't meet with the team member, so I didn't get feedback for over a week. Even though I didn't get the job, I appreciated the detailed feedback and their suggestion for a role that might be a better fit, but it's not available right now.
- How would you approach individuals with varying learning styles or those finding it difficult to grasp information?
Manager
I had a phone screen with the recruiter, then a virtual interview with the hiring manager, followed by a virtual interview with a peer. The final round was an in-person interview with the hiring manager and another peer. The process was average, and the questions weren't too challenging. The recruiter was amazing, and overall it was a great experience.
- Could you tell me about your understanding of value-based care?
Receptionist
The recruiter was communicative. I had an initial phone screen where we discussed my resume and experience. They asked a few questions, and it seemed to go well. After that, I was invited for an on-site interview with the physician and clinic lead. On the day of the on-site, I met with the physician for about 10 minutes and the lead for about 5 minutes. During the lead's part, she showed me the system without asking any questions and seemed disengaged. The next day, the recruiter messaged to say the position was filled but offered a similar role at a different location 40 minutes away.
- The clinic lead didn't ask me any questions.
HR Coordinator
The recruiter was awesome, and communication was on point throughout. My interview process started with a phone screening, then a Teams interview with the Director. The next steps would have been another virtual interview, followed by an in-person with the Sr. Director. I actually got an offer from another company during this time and took it, but I'd definitely consider applying again for a better role in the future.
- When you're not in the same physical location as your team, how do you go about building and maintaining relationships with them?
