First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at UPM Raflatac.
Manager
Went through a few interviews and a really long technical test that didn't really relate to the job. The place itself is nice, but it felt super quiet, like people don't really talk to each other. No casual chats or anything while I was there.
- Tell me about a time you had to handle a challenging team member.
Sustainability Manager
The interview process was extremely long, with 5 rounds in total. I passed the first round, which involved creating a video that took a lot of time and effort. Then, I had a virtual second round interview, but after that, there was complete silence. I'm not really sure what they were looking for, whether it was someone with technical experience or market-facing experience. It felt like there might have been a mismatch between the job description and the available talent, or perhaps they were looking for a "perfect" candidate. They promised to get back in touch but never did, leaving me with no closure and feeling like my time and effort weren't respected.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Customer Service Coordinator
First, there was a recruiter call and then some tests were done: psychological, graphological, logic, math, and general knowledge. An English test was also part of it. Then, there were 4 interviews: first with the direct manager (N+1), second with the sales director, third with the director of the department (N+2) along with the N+1, and finally with the HR director.
- Could you share your proudest accomplishment?
Receptionist
The interview is in English and they ask about the activities you've done, the tools you master like computer programs, languages, office functions, organizational skills, and other things that involve problem-solving and internal customer service.
- Can you tell me about the main activities you performed in previous roles?
- What computer programs are you skilled in?
- What languages do you know?
