Data Architect
I got a message on LinkedIn from a recruiter and had a quick 20-minute chat. After that, they sent me a timed SQL coding challenge on Coderbyte. What was unexpected was that the CTO wanted to review my coding assignment results directly with me. We ended up on a call that went over an hour, finishing late on a Friday afternoon. This was different from the recruiter's initial plan: call -> coding test -> onsite. A few days after that call, I got turned down.
- How would you use SQL to clean a messy, dirty dataset that contains null values and fields with inconsistent formatting?
Software Engineer
The interview was enjoyable and the interviewer was really nice and professional. We chatted about the company, the team, and the people I'd be working with if I got the job. I also have a technical interview coming up soon.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Salesforce Administrator
A recruiter reached out, and after a call with them/HR, I met with the hiring manager. The hiring manager didn't ask me anything about myself but let me ask questions about the company. In hindsight, they probably already decided on me before the interview but still held it. I never heard back after the interview.
- Can you describe your Salesforce experience and list the tools you've utilized?
Loan Processor
The interview was thorough and meaningful. UpEquity's values are clear from the start. They are efficient and open about the process, with high expectations for candidates.
- Can you share an instance where you overcame a problem and what you learned from it?
