This was a great, easy interview. They really seemed to take the time to understand me as a professional and how I would fit within the company. I think their culture is great. If I hadn't landed my ultimate dream job, I would have likely considered working here.

Technical Coding Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was really good. It started with a recruiter call, then a technical screen with an engineer, followed by a 4-hour virtual onsite. The technical screen was challenging but allowed for improvement. The virtual onsite was well-designed to assess abilities and team fit. It included reviewing a rails project for bugs, building a simple react app, and conversations with the hiring manager and CTO. They mentioned looking for someone more senior, but it's clear they value their engineers.

The recruiter was really unprofessional and not technical at all. After my second in-person interview, I was promised an email update on my application status, win or lose. That never happened. I bet they have standard emails for rejections, so just getting one of those would have been better than hearing nothing and not getting any feedback. But nope, that didn't happen.
