I applied through the Unstoppable Domains website and heard back from the recruiter 9 days later. After my screening interview, I had my second interview the following day and third interview the day after that. There was a bit of a delay until my fourth interview but that was understandable as the individual was travelling. The take home assignment was provided to me well in advance of the final panel interview, giving me time to prepare. I was given a verbal offer a day after the final interview and a written offer two business days after that.

The whole process took about two months. The recruiter was great, always keeping me in the loop and answering my questions quickly. I talked with a recruiter, the hiring manager, a team member, an engineering lead, and the Chief of Staff within the first month. The second month involved a take-home assignment, followed by a presentation to a panel. After that, they checked my references. I felt like they really respected my time and effort. They even gave me a chance to use their product, which was super helpful for understanding the user experience. The assignment had clear goals and they were upfront about compensation for the time it would take. The recruiter also gave me a heads-up on when to expect to hear back after the assignment.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process had 5 meetings. First was background, then team intro, then another department intro, then an intro with a senior member. After that, there was an assignment where you had to craft a marketing strategy for them to improve results. Finally, you present your assignment live and explain it. They didn't follow up to tell me I didn't get the job, which was a bummer after doing 5 interviews and an assignment. It felt like idea farming. Everyone was super friendly though, and the atmosphere seemed great.

The interview process was very straight forward and made up of multiple steps including: A screening call with a recruiter, a 45 minute call with a Manager to discuss background and interests, a 1 hour top grading call which was a deep dive into your previous experience to determine how you got to where you are, a 1 hour presentation where you present the product back to the team in a form of role play, a 30 minute culture call with the CEO, and finally References + Offer. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. They did an excellent job breaking the tension!
