Software Development Engineer
The interview process at Cognizant involved 4 rounds. The interviewer asked a lot of questions about my cluster on Java programming concepts and other questions on Python projects, focusing on how I developed them and what recalls I had in Python.
- Could you explain what semaphores are in the context of threading?
- What can you tell me about your work with Java programming concepts?
- Describe your Python projects.
Software Engineer
The process started with an online assessment that covered aptitude, technical topics, and coding. After that, there were one or two technical interviews where they asked about programming, DBMS, OS, and networking. The last round was with HR to check communication, how adaptable you are, and if you're a good fit for the team. Make sure you can explain your projects well and know the basics.
- Can you provide a detailed explanation of one of your projects and describe the challenges you faced during its development?
