The interview process was long and overly complicated. It involved a panel interview, a large group presentation, individual one-on-one interviews, a phone interview, submitting a presentation, and a large group Q&A. The questions felt repetitive, and different teams had conflicting expectations that weren't clear. It really came down to who the decision-makers were and whose input mattered most, which wasn't usually obvious.

The timing was great, the whole process was fast and simple. Everyone I talked to, from the first contact to the hiring managers, was really nice. They were flexible with scheduling and really clear about what to expect. If I emailed with a quick question, they usually got back to me within two days.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was impersonal and involved several rounds and tasks, only to end with an automated rejection. It was the worst interview experience due to poor hospitality, staff interactions, and communication, and a lack of respect for applicants. Given the university's size, this might just be a problem with this specific unit/department.
