First, I sent in my application package via email. Then, there were some email conversations. After that, I had an in-person interview where I gave a presentation about myself. They usually let you know at the end of the presentation if you got the job, otherwise, it's under review and they'll get back to you later. Finally, the onboarding process.

You have to be careful not to lose the deadline. It was just an email that was sent without any heads-up or recurring emails. I was a student during pandemic, so I easily missed one of those emails and lost a semester of being able to be a TA. For the rest of the semesters I've worked there, the salary was good and the work was manageable.
